Another person at the concert!

This is Michael McLean... Bad picture of him... but he doesn't stand still for very long. He went extra long because another artist had an emergency and couldn't come to the concert. He really listened to what he thought the Spirit was telling him. He sang songs that he thought people NEEDED to hear. Learn from, get inspiration from. It was amazing how many tissues were used that night.

ok... Hilary Weeks is so cool. She was sitting a piano, I couldn't see her very well... but the big screen and sound system was amazing. I loved it. I learned a lot and cried a lot.

One of my Dreams come true!

Last weekend I went to seminar down town called, Time Out for Women. Hilary Weeks... Sang, spoke, laughed... it was wonderful... I was standing in line to buy her newest CD... and my friend... (I mean Dick's friend) Gail saw that she was coming out and standing by herself. She pushed me over to her... I said... " I can't talk to her, she's famous." But I did and it was so cool. Gail took our picture. My hair looks stupid... but THAT is HILARY WEEKS!!!

This is the view of the living room from the dinning... it is actually one huge room. The couch has to be in the middle of the room so I don't fall down. It is all so cute.

This what my brother changed my wallpaper to on my cell phone one day while he was visiting San Antonio when my mom was sick. He is always doing things that remind us that we are glad that we only see him every once in a while... just kidding... we love him.

This was the best birthday present I ever gave. This is my niece E's Build-a-Bear, Serena. She got to pick a toy at the Dollar Store the other day and she picked a new shirt for Serena. She has many outfits. It is very funny to see E take care of her dog Serena. She got to pick the name and everything. Her brother got one too, he got a monkey. He named his, "Way to Fast" ... he is too funny...

This is part of the freeway coming out of downtown. It is 5 lanes wide. I think it's cool. My mom doesn't.... I love being able to go faster and having the freedom to do something different than the other hundred people besides me. But there are times when we all get to sit there together... that is not fun... honestly, I haven't done that hardly at all. But San Antonio is HUGE.

This is City Hall... and the Spanish Mansion is behind it. We were still driving. San Antonio has a lot of history in the city.... of course the Alamo and all the Missions... but Mexician stuff and German stuff and then plain white stuff... That's me... ha, ha, ha.... I guess I'm german too???

Ok... I don't know why there is a cowboy on top of a building... but there is... and he is COOL! It is downtown also. Across the street, kind of, from the court house. We were driving and I suddenly reached acrossed my mom and got this GREAT picture. He's so COOL!!!

There are palm trees sproating out of the sidewalks. On the left is the parking garage... on the right and up and little is the court house. I'm not going to take another CASA case for a while. Not until I can drive again. I can follow the rules if I can't drive myself. I will wait. I want to help children but I want to do it right. I have to be healthy myself first.

We were driving down town and there are bushes all over the places that are so beautiful. But you can't just stop and take a picture... so my mom is driving and I'm trying my best to roll down the window and turn the camera on and get it straight. This is the best I got of the these beauties. There was a whole roll of them in front of a tire store.... I thought it was a funny place for such a beautiful thing.

Here is my adempt at being art-ies... This is the empty hall in front of the court room where my CASA case is. It is complete. It turned out great. He is going to be adopted by his foster family. It is a great situation. It couldn't be better for him. I'm happy for him.

This is the court house in down town San Antonio. I was across the street in the parking garage on the third floor. It was a cool sight. I had one of our last hearings for CASA last week. Trial starts on Thursday and then I'm done with this case. One year done. Wow.

If you look in the back ground there is a HUGE rodent. (like 160 lbs.) I don't know what it was called. But it was kind of scary... there were two of them, I saw one of them, but I didn't expect the other one to be swimming around... I jumped A LOT. It had huge teeth. When it gets scared it swims away. I just push my brother in front of me... they really like that. Ha, Ha!

He was big, beauty... the last time we were at the zoo we saw two birds beating each other up right below his perch. He doesn't really move from his spot. Those birds were increditably mean to each other. Like trying to drown each other. MEAN!

This is my oldest brother being a flamingo... he has some work to do to be able to blend in. Two brother's, two sister's, grandma, one aunt, and one cousin came to San Antonio, Texas. It was coozy at my house. We had a great time together. Unfortunate that they had to come because my mom almost died. She's fine now... hasn't gone back to work yet. But she's getting stronger everyday. Everyone thought that Texas was TOO hot. They decided that you should take a big breathe before you went outside... they were funny.

This is some of the flamingos... There were orangey ones and pinky ones... these are the pinky ones. This day is actually the day my mom got REALLY sick. She went into septic shock, one of my sister's come that night, then everyone else come the next day. It was quite an adventure.

Here is "Mommy" Kangaroo... we watched the baby jump in the pouch. The sign said he was born in November. He was a tiny little thing. The mommy jumped around got food and water... It was so cute. It looked quite warm though. I told my sister that she had quite the "hooter hidder", my niece, with the new baby has a cute one. Not so hot though.

Here is the "left over" animal... I don't know what it's really called. It has all the left over parts the God didn't know what to do with. :0) Just kidding... at this point, my sister and I were really tired and sat down. My brother broke down and bought ANOTHER water for $3.00. WOW!

Here is a very friendly rhino. He wanted people to touch him. There was a security guard stand right next to the fence telling people not to touch him. He would reach his nose up to touch people. The fence was about six feet down from the regular ground level. You could just reach down and touch the rhino's horn. The security guard had a first aid kit... a BIG one... he just stood there yelling at people... not very nice. The rhino was nice ;0)

Here are the hippo's they were really close together... they eventually move apart. The closest one stuck his hiney towards us... we got a lot of hiney's that day. But they were still neat.
